Who We Are...

Formerly the St. Albert Figure Skating Club, the St. Albert Skating Centre was established in 1978 with the purpose of providing skating programs to serve St. Albert and the surrounding community.

From "Learn to Skate" to the Senior Competitive level, and throughout your skating journey in between, the St. Albert Skating Centre is a skating environment committed to the growth of skating in our community and beyond. Through coach communication, ongoing education, and technology enhanced learning, the SASC is dedicated to providing excellent service to our clients at every level. Skaters who wish to choose Figure Skating as their focus are nurtured through our Team Coaching approach where coaches specialize in roles that contribute to the success of all skaters in their development. Our training environment and programming is designed to help every skater excel to the level they wish to participate in while being part of a culture where education, fun, and skating excellence are promoted year round.

Our Goal...

To deliver effective and efficient programming that meets the diverse needs of our community. We offer many "Learn-to-Skate" Group Programs (Pre-School, CanSkate, Advanced CanSkate, Adult, Powerskating), and Figure Skating (JumpStart, Junior, Intermediate & Senior Academy) - StarSkate/Competitive streams. We are a Skate Canada affiliated club and follow Skate Canada coaching and testing procedures.
